We thank Naz for bringing along Guest Erroll to whom we are grateful for coming to help us with our numbers. Guest Erroll seemed familiar and we believe this is because he is from the fixture after ours.
It was quite a warm evening, records suggest temperatures in the region of 23oC. The heat meant the match was played at a thoughtful conservative pace. Our understanding is that Guest Erroll plays in the fixture after ours that prides itself on at least seven players on each side. This technically means that he may be used to less time on the ball before being closed down and significantly less open space on the pitch. To Guest Erroll our game might have felt as if it was being played almost in a lower gear. We may have to ask ourselves at some point about the effect of playing six-a-side and possibly at an easier pace than the other teams who book the pitch. Is it possible that we will be found out in competitions?
Guest Erroll joined the list of players who have scored multiple hat-tricks on their first appearance with us. Interestingly, he could have had more as he faced a keeper seemingly melted to the spot. The match ended before the next team stopped it so we can only speculate how many goals might have been scored by the imperious Blue Bibs.
Match ball awarded to Guest Erroll for scoring seven goals.
